Anthony Cotton is a senior producer for Colorado Matters on CPR News. Education: Bachelor's degree in journalism, Northwestern University. Professional background: Anthony joined Colorado Public Radio in 2016, bringing decades of writing experience ranging from politics to sports. He worked for 14 years for The Denver Post and has also served on the staff of Sports Illustrated and The Washington Post. Awards: Anthony was named 2011 Print Journalist of the Year by the Colorado Association of Black Journalists.

Haylee May joined CPR News in 2024 as a general assignment reporter and back-up host. Education: BA in English Communications from Fort Lewis College, MA in International Multimedia Journalism, University of Newcastle in England. Professional Background: Haylee's journalism career launched with an apprenticeship for the BBC World Service in London where she worked for BBC Minute covering news across Asia and Africa. She later worked for the CBS affiliate television station in her hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico as a producer and reporter before getting back to her radio roots at News Radio KKOB. She was most recently the mid-day anchor at KOA Radio here in Denver. Awards: Haylee won several awards from the New Mexico Broadcasters Association in her tenure at News Radio KKOB including Newscaster of the Year, Best Breaking News Coverage, and back to back Best Feature.
